Wilderness environments are full of sharp branches and jagged rocks. We construct the main body using Diamond Ripstop fabric. The interwoven reinforcement threads create a grid that stops tears from expanding, saving the bag from catastrophic failure in the field.

What reinforcement methods are used on high-friction areas like the base and side pockets?

The bottom of a camping bag takes the most abuse when dropped on rough terrain. We double-layer the base with 1680D Ballistic Nylon. For side water bottle pockets, we use a 4-way stretch woven mesh that resists snagging, rather than cheap elastic that quickly loses its shape.
