When ordering a new prototype from an overseas manufacturer, clients frequently ask: does the sample fee include international shipping costs? Understanding exactly what is covered in your custom bag sample shipping cost is essential for accurate budget planning and ensuring a smooth delivery of your physical samples.
Does the sample fee include international shipping costs? (Understanding Your Custom Bag Sample Shipping Cost)
Generally, no. The standard sample fee only covers the factory’s labor, raw materials, and pattern-making required to create your physical prototype. Therefore, the custom bag sample shipping cost for international delivery is calculated and billed separately.
Because our clients are located worldwide, the exact international courier rates vary significantly based on your destination country, as well as the final weight and dimensions of the package. Once your custom tote bags, backpacks, or cosmetic bags are finished, we will weigh the parcel and provide you with a precise shipping quote via express services like DHL, FedEx, or UPS.
If you have your own corporate courier account, we are more than happy to ship the sample using your account (Freight Collect). For more details on getting your prototype started, please explore our sample making process or review our comprehensive shipping and delivery policies
