How long does it take to complete a custom sample from scratch? (Understanding Custom Bag Sample Lead Time)

Typically, our standard custom bag sample lead time ranges from 7 to 14 days. This timeframe begins once we have finalized your design details, confirmed the tech pack, and received the sample fee.

The exact time depends heavily on the complexity of your design and material availability. For instance, if you are developing standard lunchzakje or simple jachtzak using in-stock fabrics and standard hardware, the prototype can usually be finished in about 7 working days. However, if your design requires custom-dyed fabrics, specialized molds for hardware, or intricate printing, the process may take 14 days or slightly longer.

Please keep in mind that this timeframe covers production only. Once the sample is finished, we ship it via international express delivery services (like DHL or FedEx), which typically adds another 3 to 7 days for global delivery. To speed up your prototyping phase, we highly recommend having a clear tech pack design and finalizing your material specifications before we begin.
