How much is the custom bag sample fee, and what exactly does it cover?

De custom bag sample fee is a structured pre-production charge — not an arbitrary cost. It covers tangible material inputs and skilled factory labor, and is typically offset against your first confirmed bulk PO.

What Does the Custom Bag Sample Fee Include?
1. Pattern making & labor — cutting, assembly, and finishing on the factory floor.
2. Material sourcing — small-quantity fabric, hardware, and trim procurement outside bulk MOQ.
3. Revision rounds — typically 1–2 included; additional rounds carry incremental charges.

Sample Types and Cost Structure
1. Proto sample — highest fee; first build from raw inputs or tech pack.
2. Counter sample — based on approved proto; lower cost, faster lead time.
3. Shipment sample — random pull from bulk for QC verification; usually no additional charge.

For structurally complex builds like Op maat gemaakte viszak or hardware-intensive categories like surfboard Bag, proto fees reflect higher pattern complexity and extended material lead time.
