Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) standards govern all Final Quality Control (FQC) inspections. Our default protocol is AQL 2.5 / 4.0 (Level II, Single Sampling Plan) — the recognized benchmark across premium bag manufacturing.

Our Three-Tier Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) Standards Framework

Defects are classified and controlled across three distinct categories:

1. Critical Defects — AQL 0.0 (Zero Tolerance): Safety hazards (sharp hardware edges, eco-material non-compliance) trigger immediate batch rejection. No exceptions.
2. Major Defects — AQL 2.5: Incorrect dimensions, malfunctioning zippers, and structural failures require full batch rejection and mandatory rework before re-inspection.
3. Minor Defects — AQL 4.0: Cosmetic imperfections (uncut threads, interior scuffs) are controlled within AQL 4.0. Ongoing IPQC monitoring targets a near-zero occurrence rate.

For luxury or high-end orders, thresholds can be tightened to AQL 1.5 / 2.5 or escalated to 100% full inspection. All cleared shipments are packaged per ASTM D3951 Commercial Packaging Standard.
